Born in LA. Raised in Korea.
I’m a UX designer dedicated to enhancing lives through thoughtful and intuitive design. Based in New York City, I bring over a year of experience in designing web and iOS mobile applications.
My journey into UX design stemmed from a desire to utilize my diverse skill set to its fullest potential. With a background that spans sales, marketing, project coordination, and design, I’ve found a unique synergy that allows me to create products and experiences that truly resonate with users.
A life-changing opportunity
In 2021, I began exploring design after work and on weekends to bring a creative dimension to my sales role. This passion led me to pursue a full-time bootcamp at General Assembly, marking a significant career shift.
Post-bootcamp, I transitioned into freelancing, where I’ve designed website platforms for startups in the healthcare and manufacturing industries. Currently, I’m excited to further my expertise as I pursue a master’s degree in Strategic Design and Management at Parsons School of Design, starting in September 2024.
Outside of work
When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me enjoying delicious food, on the golf course, or playing a game of basketball. I’m an avid traveler with a love for hiking and camping, always in search of the next great adventure. My downtime includes going to the gym, diving into memoirs, and playing the saxophone to unwind. These activities keep me balanced and inspired, enriching both my personal life and professional endeavors.
